On Tuesday January 26, US Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA representatives took a look at the condition of our beaches. Making no judgments, the information they gathered will include Stone Harbor in the list for "possible" reimbursement for the time and materials needed to repair and rebuild after the December storm disaster. With no time schedule because of the number of seaside towns requesting help, Stone Harbor, the first town visited, will await the announcement of funding. We citizens need to appreciate the time and effort put forth by our administration and Public Works Department to keep Stone Harbor "in the running".
